Hi Everyone,
This is Sounika - a homemaker. I live in Mumbai with my husband and My daughter Neelakshi.
After obtaining a Master's degree in Geography and a Post graduate diploma in Computer Application, I too wanted a career in teaching, but later I decided to pay my full attention to my family especially to my daughter .
Motherhood will change your world.It is a great feeling. but gradually you will feel that the little girl to whom you were paying all your attention has become a big girl... :) She can do all the things of her own that you were doing for her .. And there you will feel like I HAVE SO MUCH TIME AND I AM GETTING BORED!
One day, sitting on my living room, I was watching some TV shows and there I came across a show on Crochet... I realised that I can make this bag! It was not for the first time that I was watching something like this.. I have seen my mother doing crochet work from my childhood days and that was the first time when my love for the wools had developed. Playing with the wools , making some dolls, making some pom-poms was my favourite pass time as a kid...:)
So, this time I knew what I have to do ..There I started making bags , some shrugs and
many more things.. And trust me I got huge amount of appreciations from all my near and dear ones.
Then one day one of my close friends, she suggested me to start a blog on this. She found all my works amazing .. At first I thought she must be kidding, but later I liked her idea and, today, I am writing my very first blog on crochet -WOOLKARI.. If someone will ask what woolkari is all about? then I will answer that it is nothing, but my passion for crochet.
So friends Welcome to Woolkari ..
